H.E. Wilburson

Award-winning composer and author of The War Of The Worlds sequels

H.E. Wilburson (H.E.) is an award-winning British author and composer, with accolades for the writing, music and production of The Martian Diaries series–his own imaginings of how The War Of The Worlds might continue–in book and audio formats. Having long been drawn to the H.G. Wells science fiction classic, he felt inspired in 2015 to continue the story himself, in a bid to resolve some of the questions he felt were left unanswered in the iconic original. His initial vision was of a purely immersive audio experience, due to his love of painting pictures with music and sound. However, in response to a growing demand for text versions of his work, he gave more focus to the written word, and the developing concept matured into the current series. Passionate about composing, H.E. also enjoys history, advances in science, and listening to great music and storytelling.
